Sony has launched their smart phones with quad-core processors first several weeks ago (08/01/2012). The device, dubbed the Xperia Sony Z deliberately prepared to block the rate nearest rivals: Samsung Galaxy S3 and iPhone 5 from Apple. Sony’s new smart phone depends on its design that looks flat and elegant with glass fiber in a wrap panel in the front and back of the body.

Xperia Z has a 5-inch screen and an embedded processor types Snapdragon S4 Pro quad-core. Sony Xperia Z is relatively lightweight (146 grams). This device has a thickness of 7.9 inches. Or slightly thicker than the iPhone 5, but thinner than the Samsung Galaxy S3. And like the iPhone, we can not remove the battery independently.

In terms of multimedia, the Sony Xperia Z has a LED-backlit touch screen with a size of 5 inches and full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, and comes with a technology Sony Mobile Bravia Engine 2. Sony also equip this new smartphone with a 13 megapixel camera with Exmor sensor RS imaging technology that allows mobile devices used for recording in low light conditions. Even Sony claims Xperia Z is the first smart phone with camera HDR capability.

Sony Xperia Z comes with other features such as 16GB of internal memory plus a microSD slot, front camera, LTE, HSPA +, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, and NFC. Sony Xperia Z also has IP57 certification, it means, the smartphone is waterproof and dust.

In terms of operating system, Android Smartphones as Xperia Z entrust their system on the Android 4.1 Jellybean. But Sony promises will soon provide updates so it is ready to be upgraded to Android version 4.2 (which will be named Lime Pie).

In appearance, the Sony Xperia Z is offered in three colors, black, white and purple.
