HTC Droid DNA Screen Sharper Than The Screen of The iPhone 5
HTC introduced a new smartphone called the Droid DNA. As quoted from Engadget, Tuesday (13/11/2012), the smartphone is equipped with a screen size of 5 inches, larger than the smartphones in general.
HTC Droid DNA screen supports a resolution of 1920 x 1080 and has a density of up to 440ppi. Higher density than the iPhone 5 (326 ppi) and the Samsung Galaxy S III (306 ppi).
The screen used is Super LCD3 and is coated with Gorilla Glass 2. With a large display, the HTC Droid DNA equipped with high hardware specs. This device uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro 1.5 GHz quad-core processor and 2GB of RAM.
As its operating system, the Droid DNA uses Android version 4.1 or commonly known as Jelly Bean. Like most high-end smartphones in circulation lately, HTC Droid DNA has been equipped with two cameras, one behind and one in front.
On the back, users will find an 8-megapixel camera with 28mm wide-angle f/2.0, BSI sensor, Chip Image, and the ability to record 1080p video.
At the front, there is a 2.1 megapixel camera with f/2.0 which also has the ability to record video with 1080p resolution. Front camera can also take pictures with angles up to 88 degrees.
HTC Droid DNA comes with Beats Audio speakers. In addition, the smartphone with the large screen is equipped with a storage capacity of 16GB. Unfortunately, it did not come with a microSD slot. The device is equipped with a battery capacity of 2020 mAh. HTC Droid DNA comes with support for LTE 4G connection.
HTC Droid DNA on sale for U.S. $ 200 with 2 year contract with a U.S. carrier, Verizon. Price HTC Droid DNA that is not bound by a contract (unlocked) is not yet known.
