  2. View menu and select Delete Handheld.
  3. Click Continue.
  4. Type blackberry, and then press the Enter key.

 

For BlackBerry Device Software 4.2.2 to 4.7, do the following:

  1. From the screen of the BlackBerry smartphone, select Options> Security Options> General Settings.
  2. Press the Menu key and select Delete Handheld.
  3. Select the checkbox Include third party applications to remove third-party applications. Clear the check box to store third-party applications.
  4. Click Continue.
  5. Type blackberry, and press the Enter key.

 

For BlackBerry Device Software 5.0, do the following:

  1. From the screen of the BlackBerry smartphone, select Options> Security Options> Security Wipe.
  2. Select the appropriate check box to delete the data and the desired application.
  3. Type blackberry, and click Remove.
